How big is baby?: According to baby center's updates, about the size of an apple. Around 4" and 2.5 oz.
Total Weight Gain: +5 pounds total, sigh.
Maternity Clothes: My pants finally arrived and it is heavenly. My mom was also shopping over the weekend and found 5 pair of capris, 2 pair of jeans, 6 tee-shirts, a pair of yoga pants, and a skirt for a grand total of $150!! I am so pumped to go home this weekend and try everything on!
Sleep: Pretty good. I could use that extra hour back though!
Best Moment This Week: Pretty sure I'm feeling movement every now and again. It's light, but it's getting more frequent. I can't wait to be *for sure* that's what it is.
Movement: See above
Gender: 5 more weeks until we know! I still think boy. We'll schedule the big ultrasound next week!
Labor Signs: None, thankfully!
Belly Button in or out: In- pretty sure it's gonna stay that way.
What I miss: Not having heartburn.
What I'm Looking Forward to: Next appointment March 25th!
Weekly Wisdom: Just because your morning sickness went away for 5 days does not mean it's gone. SIGH.
Milestones: 15 weeks
What baby is up to:
Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple). She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam.
