So, I've never ever been a bad driver. Well, with the exception of a bit of a lead foot my mom always says (hey, it was hereditary, I can't help it.)
In November I hit a deer. I wasn't pregnant then so I guess I can't blame this one on the baby. It really wasn't my fault though. The damn thing jumped out from behind a guard rail covered in bushes, and it was dark.
After leaving our "big u/s" I backed into a car. Luckily, the lady was nice and said she didn't care cause her car was scratched and banged up already. Plus, there wasn't any damage to either car that we could see.
Today I backed into the concrete wall thing at my house. Holy moly. What is my problem!? I swear, I was looking behind me... I back up in the same fashion every single day... yet today I apparantly could not tell how close I was.
I'm just not going to back up anymore. That should solve it. Sigh.

Oh no! I haven't hit anything yet, but I can definitely see it happening. My problem is that it's much harder for me to turn around and look out my back window so I'm just relying on my mirrors lately.
ReplyDeleteAnd those deer really do come out of nowhere. Once, a deer hit me. I came to a complete stop (I was only going 30 when I saw it) and it ran into my passenger door, no joke.
I've noticed my eyesight has definitly gotten worse which apparently is in fact a pregnancy symptom. They say it goes back to normal...but for some people it's so bad they have to get new glasses/contacts. Crazy!
