Last night we went to dinner at a Japanese Steakhouse for our anniversary (thanks to my parents gift!). We sat with a family of 4. I saw the mom eyeballing my belly on a few different occasions and knew it was just a matter of time before she said something. I ordered my steak well done and as the chef was cooking it, she turns to me and says "you know, the only time I was able to stomach eating well done steak is when I was pregnant, and only because they told me I had to." I laughed and told her that yes, that was why I ordered my steak well done but that I also didn't really like it with much pink anyways. That started the baby talk ball rolling. For the rest of the evening she gave advice and chatted us up. Very nice family, but I would have rather just spent the night talking to Dan. :)
Anyways, I think that was her roundabout way of asking about the pregnancy without putting her foot in her mouth JUST IN CASE. Lol. I'm counting it as my first stranger comment anyhow.

Lucky! I still haven't gotten a single stranger comment. Most people still act surprised when I tell them I'm pregnant.
