So, here goes!
1.) My current most favorite thing in the whole world is feeling little baby kicks! I'm getting excited to have Dan feel them in the coming weeks.
2.) When we moved to WV I hated it with a passion. Now, I don't hate it! I still wish we lived back at home, but this is starting to feel more and more like an okay place to be.
3.) I'm not really a pet person. I love my family dog, Gizmo, but don't see us getting one of our own anytime soon.
4.) I teach and love it most of the time but I do not love special ed (what I'm teaching this year). I want to get back into the classroom next year, but still don't see myself sticking it out for the full 30 years.
5.) Sometimes I look back at the last 10 or so years of my life and am amazed at how it turned out. Who would've thought that my "first boyfriend" (if you could call him that since we were in 8th grade) would turn out to be my husband!? Life has a funny way of working out... and I'm so glad it did!
6.) I really think I would enjoy being a wedding/party planner... but only for people I didn't previously know. It really irks me when people ask for my advice/help, but then ignore it.
7.) I could really go for some fruit salad right now.
8.) I looooove amusement parks but haven't been in a few years. My husband isn't a huge fan of heights so that takes away some of the thrill of roller coasters. I obviously won't be taking any death defying tumbles to the ground this summer either!
9.) I really didn't enjoy college. I started out at a school near my house and lived at home for a semester. That really sucked. Then I transferred to the same school as Dan, and it sucked a little less. I still wouldn't repeat it if you paid me though.
10.) I love to read but admittedly my book choice is usually pretty shallow. I enjoy "chick lit", the Twilight series, Nicholas Sparks books, etc.
And now for my dislikes...
1.) Most vegetables. I like potatoes (who doesn't!) and french cut green beans, and corn. I hope that my kid eats his veggies though!
2.) I really can't stand bad drivers. WV is full of them.
3.) Bugs. And for this reason, I'm not a huge fan of Spring (other than the gorgeous weather).
4.) Uncomfortable shoes. Gimme a pair of ON flip flops any day!
5.) Coffee. Though I like "coffee products" like caramel macchiatos... oh how I miss thee.
